Juli's Mentor, Gayle MacDonald

Gayle MacDonald has taught and supervised massage therapists in oncology medical/surgical in-patient units, in chemo infusion clinics, radiation oncology, apheresis and the bone marrow transplant unit since 1994. Gayle teaches therapists around the United States, Scotland, Australia, Ireland, Sweden, and Holland. She is the founding member of the Society for Oncology Massage, as well as being the creator of the Oncology Massage Healing Summit and Oncology Massage Education Associates.

Erik Dalton, who earned philosophy and clinical psychology degrees from the University of Oklahoma, began intensively studying bodywork after attending a 1972 seminar conducted by Ida Rolf; he became a Certified Rolfer in 1980 and continued his bodywork studies with Philip Greenman at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. His passion for blending mind and body therapies led him to develop Myoskeletal Alignment Techniques (MAT), an integrative approach designed to address chronic pain by combining elements of massage therapy, Rolfing and manipulative osteopathy.
